KL Bird Park in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

We had a great time at the KL Bird Park. It is the largest open air aviary in the world with more than 3,000 local and foreign birds. It is huge with plenty to see. Plus the monkeys have broken in and are wandering about stealing the fruit for the birds. So that does keep it interesting.

It is quite easy to get to by public transportation.  Just take the Metro to the National Museum and follow the signs. Once you exit the metro you will be facing the National Museum.  Turn toward the left and follow the sidewalk to the entrance to the gardens.  You will enter at the bottom of the gardens near the lake.

188 Suites Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Condo Review

The 188 Suites hosted by CoBnB is a pretty great apt located in the KLCC Area. Just a 8 min walk from the Monorail stop Bukit Nanas and a 10-15 min walk to the Twin Towers and the KLCC Suria Mall. There is a Selections Grocery Store next door in the bottom of the Summer Suites Condos as well as a Mini Mart. 188 Suites has a very nice lobby with 24 hour security, card key access to your condo floor, 5th floor with the pool, kids play area, steam, sauna and therapeutic jacuzzi. You will also have access to the parking garage and the sky gym with great views over the city.

Wow What a Find Nadia Café KL Malaysia

We took a walk in Little India Brickfields area of KL today. Super easy area to get to by public transport. Just go to Sentral KL station.  Go into Sentral Mall and head toward the Monorail.  There is a covered elevated crosswalk that will set you down at the outside edge of the area.  There are plenty of local food stalls, hawkers and restaurants.  Some lovely fountains and street art as well.  I will do a separate post about that later as there is lots to tease the senses. However the highlight of the day was lunch at Nadia Café.  It was a delight. Â
