The Amazing Preah Pithu Temples Siem Reap Cambodia

We had a fabulous visit to the Preah Pithu group of Temples in the Angkor Thom Complex at the UNESCO Angkor Wat area just a Tuk Tuk ride away outside of Siem Reap Cambodia.

The Preah Pithu group of Temples were built in the 12th century and are located in the Angkor Thom Complex. Preah Pithu is a group of 5 temples in various levels of restoration. These temples were previously identified by Letters (T, U, V, W and X). Duan Mae Temple, Chorm Temple, Kor Sak Temple, Kandork Yeak Temple and the largest Ta Tuot temple.

I have an individual video of Ta Tuot Temple as it is the largest in the group.

There is a lovely walk in this area through a quiet Jungle. But very easy to access from the tented restaurant area that all of the tours stop at for lunch in Angkor Thom on the small circuit. Just head toward the Bathrooms and just past the tents look to the right. You will see a dirt path and some temple ruins. Follow this into the Jungle area (only a 5 min walk on the dirt path) and you will stumble upon multiple temples in various states of ruin. It is very quiet as Preah Pithu temples are not even listed on the tourist map.
If you are going to visit Angkor Wat I highly recommend stepping off the beaten path to see something amazing.

These videos and Photos were created using the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G 128GB. I love this phone and camera. Super easy to use with quick easy edits on the phone for super crip photos and videos.
