Prambanan Temple Complex was built around 850 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the largest Hindu temples in south-east Asia. The three temple shrines are dedicated to the three gods: Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Keeper, and Shiva the Destroyer. There are some beautiful reliefs and statues in the temples but it was very crowded and could not be entered in most areas due to the damage it had received from a 2006 earthquake.

Ramayana Ballet and dinner within the Prambanan Temple Complex

We had a fantastic Dinner and we saw the Ramayana Ballet in the Prambanan Temple complex. It is a beautiful Hindu epic story that they do with the beautiful Prambanan Temple in the background. It was absolutely perfect.
